Local Businessman Bares All For Charity and a World Record
While on holiday in Spain a local businessman took part in an organised group skinny dip to raise money for local charities and bag a world record.
The aim was to do the world's biggest group skinny dip by beating the previous record of 506 set in 2011. After seeing the event promoted in the local paper Karl decided to give it a whirl and went along.
729 people took part to smash the world record and raised nearly 2000 Euros for local charities.
After the event Karl said “I've done a lot in my life but never anything like this. I was really excited to be part of a world record but I was also really nervous about getting my kit off. However, when I arrived everyone was just so relaxed about being naked that it didn't feel so bad.”
The event on July 21st was organised by the Spanish Naturism Federation and was aimed at boosting publicity and naturist tourism to the Vera Playa area. Fundraising was being done by the local Lions Club.
